ANIMAL PRODUCTS POLICY
PatriotBuySell is committed to supporting wildlife conservation and responsible trade practices. To help protect vulnerable animal species, sellers may not list, sell, or distribute products derived from animals that are classified as endangered, threatened, or otherwise protected under applicable laws and international agreements, including the U.S. Endangered Species Act (ESA) and Appendix I of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
Examples of prohibited species include, but are not limited to:

Bears
-
Cetaceans (including dolphins, porpoises, and whales)

Chinchillas

Protected coral species (such as Elkhorn and Staghorn corals)

Crocodilians

Elephants
-
Marine turtles
-
Pangolins
-
Primates (including bonobos, chimpanzees, gorillas, monkeys, and orangutans)
-
Protected bird species (including eagles, falcons, and parrots)
-
Protected reptiles and amphibians (including tortoises, the Iranian Spotted Newt, and the Lake Titicaca Frog)
-
Rhinoceroses
-
Sawfish
-
Sharks
-
Seahorses
-
Seals
-
Tibetan antelope
-
Wild cat species (including cheetahs, jaguars, leopards, ocelots, and tigers)

Wolves
-
Zebras
This restriction applies to all endangered, threatened, and protected species, including their subspecies. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their products comply with all relevant local, national, and international regulations.
Fur Products
PatriotBuySell does not allow the sale of products made from, or containing, natural fur obtained from animals raised or killed primarily for their fur. This restriction applies regardless of the animal's age, source, or country of origin.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

Raw animal pelts

Fur coats and garments

Fur-trimmed clothing

Accessories made with real fur
Examples of prohibited fur sources include mink, fox, rabbit, and similar fur-bearing animals.
This policy does not apply to taxidermy items or animal byproducts commonly used in other industries, such as leather, sheepskin, wool, or mohair, provided they comply with all applicable laws and marketplace requirements.
PBS reserves the right to take action when a listing, image, or account violates this policy. Actions may include:

Removal of listings or content

Seller warnings
-
Temporary selling restrictions
-
Permanent account suspension
-
Other actions required by law or the PBS User Agreement
Why We Have This Policy
This policy helps protect endangered and vulnerable animal species, supports ethical trade practices, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. By restricting certain animal products, we promote a safer, more responsible marketplace for both buyers and sellers.
